How to Redeem an eBay Gift Card
Sign in to your US eBay account. At checkout, enter the redemption code in the gift card section and apply the balance. Use another accepted payment method for any remaining amount. A PayPal account is not required.
United States Region
You need a US-registered eBay account and a US shipping address. After use, the remaining balance stays linked to the same account.
Digital Delivery
Your code is delivered digitally within a few minutes after payment, with no separate delivery or code issuance fee. Order verification can affect processing time. Delivery of the code and activation by eBay are separate: eBay advises that activation can take up to four hours.
Important Information
eBay is phasing out gift card sales, while existing eligible cards remain redeemable. Purchase availability depends on stock. Cards have no expiration date or fees, but spending limits and exclusions apply. They cannot buy other gift cards, coupons, currency or bullion.
